My Story and Why I Do This

I’m a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, a teacher, and a lifelong student of Church history and doctrine. I started GospelGuardian because I kept meeting people — members and non-members alike — who had real, honest questions about the Church that deserved real, honest answers.

Too often, hard questions get met with either silence or dismissiveness, and that pushes people away instead of helping them understand. My goal here isn’t to argue anyone into belief. It’s to lay out the historical record, the doctrinal context, and the best faithful scholarship available, and let people draw their own conclusions from solid ground.

What I Bring to This

I’ve spent years teaching gospel doctrine and studying LDS apologetics, drawing on sources like FAIR, Book of Mormon Central, the Joseph Smith Papers, and the Church’s own Gospel Topics essays. I’m not a professional historian — I’m a dedicated student who believes ordinary members can and should engage seriously with difficult questions.
